He completed his master’s degree in geography at the University of Victoria (BC) in the Spectral Remote Sensing Laboratory, focusing on remote sensing of Pacific herring spawning events. A spectacular phenomenon! Throughout his academic and professional career, he has also worked for the Aquatel laboratory at UQAR, the Pacific Salmon Foundation, and as a lecturer. While his path has always kept him close to the sea, his return to Rimouski marks a transition to more land-based projects; his expertise lies at the intersection of optical remote sensing, GIS, the sea, and the land.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row row_height_percent=”0″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”2″ top_padding=”7″ bottom_padding=”0″ back_color=”color-bleu” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ column_width_percent=”100″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ uncode_shortcode_id=”126170″ back_color_type=”uncode-palette”][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ shift_y_down=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”1\/1″ uncode_shortcode_id=”135821″][vc_row_inner limit_content=””][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_custom_heading text_color=”color-blanc” heading_semantic=”h3″ text_size=”h3″ text_transform=”uppercase” uncode_shortcode_id=”891822″ text_color_type=”uncode-palette”]COLLABORATORS[\/vc_custom_heading][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text text_color=”color-blanc” uncode_shortcode_id=”138959″ text_color_type=”uncode-palette”]We have collaborations with various researchers at the national and international levels in academic institutions (UQAR\/ISMER, Universit\u00e9 Laval, UCC) and members of Arcticnet, research institute (NIVA), governmental departement (Fisheries and Oceans Canada, DFO) and the private sector.<\/p>\n
ACRI-ST, an independent SME that is based in Sophia-Antipolis, France.
